Starship SN-9
The Starship SN 9 was launched on Feb 2, 2021 to an altitude of 10 km. One of the engines had an issue with the oxygen pre-burner during the landing burn and failed, causing SN9 to hit the landing pad at a 40+ degree angle and exploded.
Launch Site: Boca Chica Facility, Texas
Vehicle: High altitude Prototype Starship with 3 Raptors engines SN44, 46 and 49.
Paper Model 1:100 scale features:
- Optional separate nosecone to show interior with Header tank. (Improved version: rings with connecting tabs)
- Body can be separated to show upper dome and Tesla battery.
- Both canards and wings are movable.
- Landing legs can be deployed or stowed.
